is a Christmas compilation album released by American Christian singer Amy Grant in 2008. It is her second Christmas compilation album, after 2005′s My Best Christmas.

The compilation includes fourteen previously released Christmas songs from Grant’s three Christmas albums, A Christmas Album, Home for Christmas, and A Christmas to Remember, as well as four new songs.

Of these four songs, two are cover versions while two are original compositions. The two cover versions are “Jingle Bells” and “Count Your Blessings”. The latter is taken from the 1954 jukebox musical film White Christmas, and even though Grant has stated she has not watched it yet, she recorded the song for its message. The version of “Jingle Bells” is a cover of the arrangement written by Marty Paich, sung by Barbra Streisand. The two new songs are “I Need a Silent Night”, co-written with constant collaborator Chris Eaton (“Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song)”); and “Baby, It’s Christmas”, co-written with husband and fellow singer Vince Gill.

Genre: Gospel/Christian, Holiday
Length: 62:05

is the seventh album by Christian music singer Amy Grant, released in 1983. The release was Grant’s first of numerous Christmas albums.

A Christmas Album was issued on the heels of Grant’s immensely successful 1982 LP Age to Age. Primarily for the audiences she attracted with Age to Age, A Christmas Album featured well-known religious and secular standards alongside original songs. Although not as successful as Age to Age, A Christmas Album still peaked in the Top Ten of the Christian chart and spawned a Top 20 Christian radio single in “Emmanuel.” A Christmas Album would eventually be certified gold in 1985, and platinum in 1989.
The Collection was the first compilation of Amy Grant’s music to be released, and it was issued after her crossover success in 1985 with the album Unguarded. The Collection spanned Grant’s first decade in music, and featured the new songs “Stay For Awhile” and “Love Can Do,” the former of which was a Top Twenty Adult Contemporary hit in the United States. The Collection was originally released in two different versions: a cassette version and an LP version. The LP version was directed to her newer fans, who knew her primarily for her Top 40 pop hit “Find A Way.” The cassette version was directed to her older fans, who knew her for her Christian work as well as her secular work. The LP version contained ten tracks, and the cassette version contained fifteen tracks. In 1990, The Collection was re-released on CD with the 15 tracks featured on the cassette version, and two additional tracks, “Too Late” and “I’m Gonna Fly”. Word Canada accidentally released the ten-track LP version to CD. The cover and tray art were that of the seventeen-track version causing confusion and recalls. They later issued the seventeen-track version as well. According to CCM Magazine, The Collection is the best-selling Christian music compilation album ever released, having sold in excess of 1 million copies. An unauthorized reproduction of the album artwork (featuring Amy Grant) was used for issue #15 of the Marvel Comics series Dr. Strange. Apparently, the issue’s artist was a fan of the singer and decided to use her likeness for a character in the story.

Age to Age was Amy Grant’s breakthrough album, finally earning her serious recognition within the burgeoning CCM community as it ushered her into stardom, and also contributed to the creation of the mold for the modern Contemporary Christian music star. The hit success of the album’s first two singles, “Sing Your Praise To The Lord,” featuring a piano intro based on J.S. Bach’s “Fugue #2 in C Minor” from The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 1, and “El Shaddai,” saw its sales take off, selling well over a million copies. It became the first Christian music album by a solo artist to be certified gold in 1983, and the first ever platinum Christian music album in 1985.

The album was listed at #92 in the 2001 book, CCM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music and it was one of the fastest-selling specifically-Christian albums ever released. It sold about 50-60,000 copies a week on average, which was unheard of for a Christian album at the time. Dan Harrell, one of Amy’s managers, claimed that it was the fastest selling record in her record company’s history. Indeed, it became the first Christian album by a solo artist to be certified gold (1983), and the first Christian album to be certified platinum. It became so popular that it topped Billboard’s Christian albums chart for 85 weeks, and was named Gospel Album of the 1980s by Billboard magazine.

In 2007, Age to Age was reissued and digitally remastered by Grant’s new record label, EMI/Sparrow Records. The remastered edition is labeled with a “Digitally Remastered” logo in the ‘gutter’ on the CD front.

Amy Grant, although today considered a modest record success, was probably one of the biggest Christian album releases ever when it was issued in 1977. At that time, Contemporary Christian Music (or as it was more commonly called, Inspirational music) was a tiny subgenre, sold exclusively at Christian bookstores. But the album was a breakthrough in terms of the Christian music market of the day, selling 50,000 copies in one year. Three songs from the album made Top Ten Christian radio airplay: “Old Man’s Rubble,” “Beautiful Music,” and “What A Difference You’ve Made.” (The latter track was made more famous by country singer Ronnie Milsap, as “What A Difference You’ve Made In My Life.”)
In 2007, Amy Grant was reissued and digitally remastered by Grant’s new record label, EMI/Sparrow Records. The remastered edition is labeled with a “Digitally Remastered” logo in the ‘gutter’ on the CD front.
